ARTISTS AT SCHOOL      

     Every spring, students from Grades 4, 5, & 6 come to

     the Fine Arts Centre to participate in art lessons with

     professional instructors.  Selected watercolour paintings

     by this spring's students have been reproduced onto 

     Christmas and all-occasion cards and are now for sale

     in the gift shop at a cost of $10.00 for five cards.  Cards

     may also be ordered in multiples of ten for $20.00.          

                             

                                          CREATIONS INC.       

     "CREATIONS, INC.", our brand new fundraiser for 2009,

     was a huge success and there's talk of making it an annual

     event.  We owe an immense "thank-you" to members and

     friends who graciously contributed their art, as well as to

     those who purchased tickets for June 12, your combined

     efforts made it a roaring success.  Thank you from all of us,

     your contributions have ensured that our community art

     programs will continue!

                              

                                    TEA ROOM

      Come to the Fine Arts Centre to support our newest

      venture - a Tea Room in the gallery!  Tea room hours 

      are 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.

        Come in and enjoy a refreshing pot of tea or cup of

      coffee and a changing assortment of cookies and

      squares, while you admire the current gallery display.

      There's no set price for the tea room, but we appreciate

     a donation to cover our costs.
